I am the owner and photographer of Five by Five Photography and Design; a wedding, portrait and fine art photography studio based in Lexington, Kentucky. I think it is an honor to be invited to capture all the joyous moments of a couple in love. Each couple has their own unique dynamic, which is such a beautiful thing to observe and weave into a story through photographs.

I began to explore photography during a semester abroad program through the University of Kentucky, College of Architecture. After graduation and a three year stint as an architect, I decided to trade in my T-square for a Canon. However, I did not lose the fundamental concepts of design I learned along the way and I feel it is my architectural background that strongly influences my approach to photography. Architecture taught me to challenge the norm and to push existing design boundaries. I have translated these lessons into photography by challenging the concept of a 'traditional photo and photo session.'
