Q: What wedding photography services do you offer?
A: I can start the day as early as you would like. Many brides like to have photos of the 'getting ready' process. I also offer full wedding ceremony coverage and full reception coverage. In addition, I provide custom designed albums and prints as large as 16x20. All photos which will be used for the albums and/or prints will be post processed. I don't offer a 'standard' wedding photography package because there is no such thing as a 'standard bride.' Rather, I would love to talk with you about your wedding and then develop a custom package tailored to your needs.
Q: Do you give high resolution copies of all your photos on a disk?
A: Yes. I feel that you have paid for the photography service and that includes all the photos I have shot throughout the day. All the photos from your wedding will be provided to you in 300dpi Tiff format on a DVD at no additional charge. You can choose a series of photos [typically 50] to be post processed for an additional fee.
Q: How do I view my photos and choose the photos I want to have edited?
A: All the photos from your event will be uploaded to an online password protected gallery for you to browse at your convenience. Please don't download directly from this gallery as they are all low resolution quality and very bad for printing. I will be providing you with all your images on a disk, which will make for much better prints.
Q: Are your engagement and portrait sessions shot in a studio or on location?
A: I typically prefer to shoot on location. Why stay confined to a studio when Mother Nature has provided so many lovely landscapes to use as backdrops? Also, I feel that being outdoors helps everyone to be more relaxed and allows me to capture natural smiles and beautiful candid moments. That being said, I do also recognize that at times there is a need for formal studio photos and can accommodate those as well.
Q: Do you travel outside the Lexington area?
A: I love to travel! A custom travel quote is provided upon request.
Q: I'm from out of town and probably won't be able to meet ahead of time. Is that ok?
A: That's absolutely ok. We can always chat on the phone and through email to make sure all your questions are answered well ahead of time. Technology has made it quite simple to communicate these days no matter how far apart we may be.
Q: What do I need to do in order to book you?
A: All you need to do is send in a signed contract and security deposit. I will respond with an email as soon as I receive both and the day of your event will be set aside for you.
